NEEB
NEEB are a Hartlepool-based, vocal-led jazz-soul quartet with roots stretching through decades of shared musical history. From their early creative adventures to performances at Glastonbury and their reunion at Mobeus Studio, the band has always been driven by friendship, collaboration and a refusal to remain within one genre.
NEEB – Vocal-led
Jazz Soul Quartet
NEEB are a Hartlepool-based jazz soul quartet making warm, groove-led music built around Rhodes piano, synths, soulful vocals, bass-heavy arrangements and jazz-informed drums.
Their debut album Take To The Sky introduced a sound that moves between jazz soul, disco, funk, electronica and late-night lounge music, with Jasmine Weatherill’s voice now firmly at the heart of the band.
New single “Feeling Tonight” opens the next chapter, leading into second album You Are Not Alone, due February 2027.

Feeling Tonight
Feeling Tonight is the first single release as part of their new album which will be released early 2027. Feeling Tonight came together in a really organic way. It started as a jam during rehearsal, where the groove immediately stood out. We recorded that first session, and Jasmine later improvised a vocal melody over it, which became the backbone of the song. From there, we developed the arrangement together, building on the synth lines, adding funky electric guitar, handclaps, and layered backing vocals to capture an 80s disco energy while also blending in jazz, soul and funk influences. It was a collaborative process from start to finish, and the song evolved in a really natural way, as we experimented with different textures and ideas.
Take to the Sky
Soulful vocals meet jazz harmony, deep grooves, funk, electronica and flashes of psychedelia, creating music that feels carefully crafted yet alive in the moment. The songs move between intimate reflection and expansive release, held together by musicians who listen as closely as they play.
